Overview
Built and deployed a custom SaaS portal on a Rails and Next.js stack. Lab results print as pixel-accurate PDFs sized for testing vials, and when the original PDF engine hit its limits I proposed a replacement and migrated to it.
What I built
- Found and fixed critical bugs in the user impersonation logic
- Built pixel-accurate PDFs for lab results, sized for testing vials
- Proposed moving from wkhtmltopdf to Prawn after its outdated rendering engine hit style limits, then migrated
- Rebuilt the new-user invitation emails, tested with letter_opener
- Rails API with a Next.js front end on PostgreSQL
